Joel :- Why were your bikes so slow in the above video? Almost half a lap down on the leaders.

Impressive work mate. I am not a big fan of R15 Body kit. It doesn't, have the impressive areo lines of a TZ 125 / RS 125. So if possible get them done on your machine. Your super performing bike will also look super hot. Just curios to know, what Piston, Cam kit, Gear Box, Primary Drive you run. Is the bike still FI with Stock - Modified Ignition (or) gone the Carb path with Ignition kit to support that. Any valving job for the front forks & rear suspension. Why am I asking all these questions mate because it's a Group-B and don't get me wrong if I have crossed the line. It's that my curiosity is driving me nuts. Go with the Bridgestone Batalax SS tires (or) Vee-Rubber slicks if you can get hold of them. Good luck mate.

                Cheers - TZ750.

                  True, we shot that video
We had only one bike, the other bike belonged to Team Libra Racing.
What makes a complete package for circuit racing is the rider and the machine. Even Rossi on a slow bike cant do much and vice versa. The engine was not completed on time due to a time crunch and what I did was swapped the engine off my R15 for the race. So it was effectively my R15 with a little more weight reduction. The bike was still heavy coz there were lot of limitations due to time crunch again.
Our rider, Varad More was riding a group B bike for the first time and there was no practise done at all. He was more pushing the bike like a group D (stock class) bike and hence the full potential of the engine could not be bright out. Like I said, the package was not there. Worst part tyres were still stock. We could not get our race tyres delivered on time and the bike was sliding at corners too.
The leaders are expert riders who have a decade or more worth experience. They are Fast!

Man which ever position in a Group B race, its an achievement to be there racing in that group. More than a 1000 of us dream to be there, only 8 or so manage to get to the grid. And Joel's bike was one those. Congratulations man... This is a true achievement.

I am sure, even that lucky engine must be thrilled to be counted on that grid.

All the Best for all your future races and achievements Joel.
