  • K1000 RALLY Flag Off

    Hello Friends,
I got the following information from the website of Karnataka Motorspots Club www.kmsc.in

The 33rd BOSCH Karnataka 1000 Rally will be flagged off from the Ramanashree California Resort at Yelahanka and be held from the 21- 23 AUGUST, 2009.
( In the website www.kmsc.in, it actually says 19 - 21st August,2009 which is wrong)

The Rally will have 6 stages on the 17th and 6 stages on the 18th August 2007. The 1st stage will be the Mulberry Stage with a distance of 09.68 km, we then move on to the Silk Stage, which is 6.06 km, and the Clay Stage with a distance of 11.98 km.

The stages will be around the areas in Sidhalghatta, the K 1000 Rally Base will be at Ram Farms, which will comprise of the service park & re-group area and this will be the center point of the Rally on the 17th & 18th August 2007.

The Super Special Stage, which is a closed circuit, will be at Jakkur Flying Club - specially prepared so as to enhance spectator viewership. This K 1000 Rally will be a true test of speed and endurance for man and machine

    For more details, visit http://www.fmsci.in/download/NAT_CHA...k.1000.srs.pdf

If any of the the XBhpians are travelling to watch the Rally, then plzz update the best locations which have the best views. Your suggestions can save us time so that we need not scramble in the last moment to get to the best view points.

The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

No man will be a marine engineer who has contrivance enough to get himself into a jail;for being in a ship is being in jail, with a chance of being drowned.A man in a jail has more room, better food and commonly better company.

          First photos of Flag off

It was paradise for all enthusiasts.......
I was very happy to have seen such a response for the rally. In india, its the only rally being conducted for the longest time, this time being 35.

Drivers from all corners, from various teams & riding different cars of numerous colours was a delight to watch..... not to forget the roar of those engines..... OH MY GOD.... it was pure adrenalin pumping in my blood as i geard it...

          I loved it
