    Drag race in Hyd on 20th and 21st feb.

    Jan Racing presents its 1st Drag Race @ Hyderabad on 19th, 20th and 21st feb,2010.

    Any one from Mumbai who wants to participate pls pm me if we get good num of entries than we will give a very good package for transportation, accommodation. etc

      It must be at the International Airport. Its the place only where the official APSC drags have taken place till now.

            Deccan Quarter Mile Drag races have been held here many times before.. so this is not the first time in Hyderabad.
            Quite a few of xbhp members have participated the last time(That was the first time i attended it in dec 09)

              Hi Guyz ,
              I heard that the drag race is scheduled on 12 th feb 2010 , at GMR inernational Airport,Hyderabad.
              So is it on 12th or 20th guyz please confirm,
              whats the process to be taking part , i want to take part with my custom R15 ,
              Guyz please confirm.

                  The entry forms are available on JAN Racing and also Welcome to Andhra Pradesh Motorsports Club.

                    Joel placed 2nd in the upto 165cc 4s class and 2nd in the upto 250cc 4s class. Bugger is busy with the hill climb happenind at Nandi, so posting this in his absence.

                    @Joel: What have you named your 165cc bike man ? Fie-che GT

                      Man, its the most disappointing race of my life. My drag RTR could never have performed bad. We traced the issue to the adulterated speed 97 fuel that was used. My RTR, my friends Skoda Octy VRS(with a massive turbo) and another car had the same issue. The engine was misfiring and acting weird all of a sudden. After a fuel change, the engine is perfect....but it was too late.
                      i was clocking mid 14s during testing on saturday and doing speeds well over 140kph in 400mtrs. But the race day was pure disaster, thanks to some stupid fuel that was brought to us.
                      The karizma is officially the fastest karizma in the country. On saturday, i clocked a fastest 15.1secs with a bike that weighs around 120kgs and evidently beating the twin cylinder competition - the comet 250R with works.

                      next drag will be sure fun, coz I have some new plans up my sleeve.

                      Hope the hill climb is lucky for me tomorrow.

                        thanks to some stupid fuel that was brought to us
                        If I were you, I would have made 4-5 runs with the new fuel before the drag. You never know where or who tailored that fuel, especially during a competitive sport like this.
