Maruti Suzuki Dakshin Dare will take place on June 8th - 12th.
It will be a rally conducted over 5 days, similar to Desert Storm and Raid-de-himalaya
Last year it was only conducted for 4-wheelers in TSD format.
This year, there'll be 4W-extreme, 4W-TSD and 2W-extreme ..
The route is
Bangalore-Mysore
Mysore-Ooty
Ooty-Coimbatore
Coimbatore-Munnar
Munnar-Cochin
PD at Cochin
Distance is approx. 1800 kms with atleast 100-150 kms of competitive stages every day !
The dirt/tarmac ratio on each day is:
Day 1: 30/70
Day 2: 80/20
Day 3: 10/90
Day 4: 50/50
Day 5: 40/60
