    For Vivek!!!

Oh ho Sir Ji, perhaps I was misunderstood. But you have to understand our plight also. We have been seeing the BMW hyper tourers on net, but never saw one in flesh. Dirt/ off-road/trail bikes fascinate us because unfortunately for the inadequate resources we have, we people tour on few of the most unpractical bikes. Hence, looking at the TTR and the CRF, we thought of all the fun it would be to ride these potential bikes to hills, though, we also understand that each bike is designed and built for a purpose only.

Anyways, I would not say much, for I have very high regards for you. I appreciate you for your skill set and I appreciate you more for the kind of person you are. One of the most humble person I have met on this Forum.

    all cheers

P.S: Even if I had 1/10000th part of the skills that you posses, I would have been 50,000 times more arrogant than what I am today.
Its not about the BHP or the CC, its about one common religion called Biking!!!

One has to respect the machine as much as one wants command over it.I have seen people quickly turning these bikes and making controlled slides and spins for taking turns. This bike allowed even a novice like me to do that, but one mistake in the middle of maneuver due to lack of confidence or sharp practice, and it hits back hard.

I can go on describing the disqualifications. But I am short of words to describe what does it bring along - ownership experience of a off road superbike.

YOU cannot kill the throttle in reaction, teh throttle needs to be let of by few mms and rear will gain traction again. So in short, the most important factor on these bikes are throttle. If you are going in straight line, throttle up. If you want to turn, throttle up more. If you can handle a situation, throttle up and if you cannot, throttle little more

I just wish to have enough skills in me someday to even utilize 40% of this motorcycle
Vivebk bhaiya, Reading all this thoroughly has taken a long time and even trying to understand the feelings and emotions that you want to convey.

It had been my immense pleasure to learn about riding off the road from you,old fox and chintu, there could be 'n' number of limitations on a bike that can not carry more than one person at a time, whose tires may be costly and wear off faster than normal.,but the pleasure, the thrill that it gives to make it run there on the curves and get that power to sweep you to a side can not be compared.

It has been a long time,we could not ride on the dirt and this itch has been now growing in mee too,i have personally asked c_sbk to get to hit the same place again in a short while, plaese let us know when we all can come again and just try to get back a hand on it.

40% of this machine, when it came to RX, I personally belive I would not have been able to take out even 10% of that bike.

OldFox's words are just so selfexplanatory what he wanted to say on it,but learning some more after riding and when he shall correct us after seeing us ride would be again a learning curve.
Lets try to get to the place in coming weeks again.

Yes. Same applies to race track (road racing) as well. If you think you are carrying too much speed, lean more and throttle up.

Just for info, Nitin finished 4th this year at SJOBA in group D! And it is not even a year that he has started practicing.
