  • Dazzling Daft Punk Helmet Made From Scratch!

What have you done with the last 17 months of your life? Made your own Daft Punk helmet? No? Well this guy made his own Daft Punk helmet. And maybe more importantly, he made a video of the build process.

YouTube - How to make a Daft Punk helmet in 17 months

Isn't it just remarkable how countless hours of one man's work become the perfect way to blow 3 minutes on the internet? I can watch someone do anything, as long as it looks difficult, time consuming and doesn't require any additional investment from myself.

Maybe Warhol's prophetic slogan should be revised: "In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes, but it will take a lifetime for them to make that happen."

I really don't see the point of this thread, seeing as this is not related to motorcycling in any way. One cannot use this helmet on a bike.

Also, we have umpteen news threads sprouting up everyday containing recalls and/or defects concerning motorcycles which are not even available in India. A thread for a bike launch is okay, but what exactly is the point of a thread for X number of 600+ cc motorcycles' recalls in a different country?

News threads are meant for sharing news, and perhaps some discussion. The irrelevant threads are clearly identified by n views and exactly 1 reply, that being the moderator approval.

Stuffing up the News forum with the amalgamated output of 4 or 5 motorcycling news websites takes all the fun out of looking around in the forum.

            Just my opinion.
