This is a good one reduced tank = reduced metal = reduced cost. ..so how much metal will be saved??? 1kg 2kg??? Dude u know the cost of metal hardly 100bucks.

But remember designing a new tank = more cost as new die needs to be created. Which is quiet costly.

some time ago , there was a article in the mag Auto motor and sport about the chinese bikes by name BIG Chief that were to be launched by
a sardarji of Delhi. What happened to that yaar

Any news . I think delhi guys can answer that.

ya dat person already exports bikes from china to sm african countries.. brazil etc.. but for india.. the plan is on hold rite now..
neways saW rajiv khannas subaru in gurgaon dat day.he also owns a cbr n a harley..dat subaru was d STI version wid turbo/air scoop n d works wid 225/45 r 17 aluminium alloys n wat now.. i was wid my frenz on karizma n 2 p180s..he chatted wid us for a while. i requested him dat v wanted to hear d exhaust note..on idling it was like cbr1100.. (d exhaust note).d car had traction cntrl.. man..i cant tell u..he said he will tk it down d road on full throttle.. n d way he did..d traction cntrl was on..full throttle 1st gear..d exhaust sound was mindblowing!! d way d car went.. it does 0-100 in abt 5-6 secs.. for d 1st time in my life.. i saw a machine on 4 wheels go from 0 to abt 70-80 in just abt 3 secs.. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
n dat car runs on 97 octane.. d only one in north india!

a 625 cc bullet had been launched
but after a few 100 models the prodn got stopped coz there were no buyers
got this info from a REML showroom pune 2day

Hi Guys,
I have already got the New Red Pulsar 150cc Dtsi 2005 model with the ExhausTEC engine . The bike has got 17" alloys alongwith Nitrox shock absorbers and the superb new tech. engine. The engine is a gem in the ever congested Bangalore traffic, add to it the silky smooth gearshift. You can easily drive the bike in 3rd and 4th gears in the traffic. There's hardly a need for changing to 2nd.

. The Silver alloys are similar to those used in ZMA and the bike looks fabulous with those wheels. They are shod with wider MRF Zappers and not Dunlop. Though, my Honda Unicorn waited to be delivered to me at the showroom, but still the test ride of both the Pulsar and Unicorn, add to it the striking new looks, tilted me in favour of the Pulsar and thus got it. [

]. I think that the bikini fairings are the same as the previous one though I have read that it is now shorter in the new 180 DTSi, so they may be in the 150.. there may be some changes, though I can't confirm that.
Anyways, I don't regret my decision at all... [8D]
