If at all, they come up with a 250, it surely won't be a fully-faired tourer like the CBR. It might as well be a retro machine. But they have already broken their traditional mould with a (marginally) quick-revving and short-geared Continental GT. Even though the GT is not a challenge to full-time sport bikes like the CBR, they are gradually stepping towards 'different' machines.
What's uncanny?
The Honda vs RE 250cc battle was existing since the sixties!
What's funny?
RE was overpriced with shoddy quality (oil leaks, rattles et all) back in the 60s, it's still the same!
