Welcome to xBhp Forums v2020

Welcome to 2020 Edition of the xBhp Forums . As you might have already noticed, the forums have undergone a major upgrade to keep up with the times. This will make the forums faster and intuitive and much more mobile friendly.

    HONDA in track fever ??

    Hey guys,

    I have read in Overdrive latest issue about Honda planning a Race (Track Day) in chennai similar to the one recently organized by Yamaha.

    It says Honda will be importing CBR 150r for this purpose, you can race that day on the track either with that imported CBR or the new stunner cbf. Well, I am not fully aware of the details but the day is going to be between october 30 and november 2nd !! I think now it is the clash of Titans .. I hope Honda gets the bigger biikes soon and takes the fight to yamaha's backyard !!

    So much happening in biking, i hope things are getting better for us power starved bikers in India... Cheers

          Hmmm, may be because Honda wants you to try the new CBF Stunner or probably the CBR 150 !! Unicorn has been here for ages .. marketing is not really reqd for that gem of an engine

                Instead, why do not they produce CBR150??? People will be more satisfied with that step than importing one and showing it. Honda does not have any rights to do it.

                  Honda has already previously announced that it will not bring the Honda CBR 150R to India any time soon .. cuz it already has a hot bike in the 150 class .. and that is the Honda Unicorn a.k.a Honda CBF 150 M .. [by the owners manual] ..

                    Well, that's what I meant... If they're getting the CBR 150 to India soon then it is okay. Else it is meaningless to showcase something we don't have with us.

                      That is the point. HOnda does not have a right to hold a race event.

                        a lil OT .. i completed 10000 kms on my Honda Unicorn in 4 & 1/2 months ..
                        took delivery on 16th april 2008 and touched 10k on sept 1st ..
                        now is that a lot of riding .. ???
                        am a wing rider .. and dat is all der is to it ....

                            Man!!

                            Is honda losing it out to yamaha!!..this event is just a attempt at cheap publicity..whats the use of an event when the product isnt going to be launched in India..i just dont get what the Honda marketing folks have in their minds..

                              The article in Bike mag says go the the nearest honda dealer for details about the race. I went to the Honda showroom at Domlur and they have no clue about the event. Typical
