Kawasaki makes a 400 cc version of the same bike which is I guess is sold in Japan (W400). I say, if they intoduce it here it could come cheaper than the Ninja 250. These bikes would make excellent commuters and even tourers with highly reliable engines. Retro classic rocks !

The Japs often have models for home consumption that are not even seen by the rest of the world.
I think Kawasaki Estrella 250 single more gorgeous as W400, and W400 also available in Australia as 'learn's legal'.
well, it seems like the big K's Indian counterparts don't want to enter the Indian Retro market...

As much I like these retro bikes, they don't stand a chance in India. There will be a direct comparison between the C500 and 350's and these motorcycles, the RE will score on its price and exhaust note, not to mention a strong fan following.

While these machines look cool, they don't sound much. But I say no harm in ogling at these motorcycles and talk about them in forums - they are not going to come to India anyway. At least for the next 10 years.

well, if Kawasaki Estrella 250 and W400these models look more authentic and reliable than any RE models (probably as good as other retro expensive models).

I'm not sure on what you mean by 'more authentic' - a RE is as authentic as it gets!

Like I said before, this is good fodder for forum talk, nothing else. Really. All of us know that they ain't going to be priced at sub Rs.250,000 under the current circumstances.

This bike is impressively simple for a modern bike at same time keeping the lines with a retro look comes with the Japanese RELIABILTY, Note the BSA styling cues: look at the swept back exhaust pipes, the Gold Star on the tank...

I would definitely consider if big K bring any of these model,

                no other option..
