Acting legend terminates noisy exhausts from 2013

HOLLYWOOD MOVIE legend and Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger has signed a controversial motorcycle noise bill, in a bid to curtail excessively loud motorbikes in the US state, Visordown has learned.

The law, which will apply to new motorcycles built from 2013 model onwards, means motorcyclists can be fined up to $250 if caught riding a machine with excessive noise pollution.

The law, SB 435, states motorcycles must be fitted with exhausts, original and aftermarket, bearing a visible EPA stamp.

"Our motorcycle-riding governor (Arnie) clearly recognizes that a few bad apples on our roads are infringing on the rights of others with their illegal, attention-seeking loud pipes," said SB 435 author Sen. Fran Pavley.

a correct move..thats my opinion..because some exhaust pipes noises are seriously irritating to the ears..hence creating noise pollution..

In US, the law is imposed by the govt. but here in India the law is broken by the govt. First of all, the motorbikes of the followers of the political party must be seized. Those dumb*** people completely remove the muffler creating irreverent noise pollution while the party meeting is held.
