  • New Hero Honda Hunk launched

Hero Honda has gone and refreshed the Hunk. The 150cc bike now looks more muscular than before and has some tweaks that might make it a more appealing buy just ahead of the festive season.

The refreshed Hunk comes with a new analog & digital combination console and a new LED tail lamp. The bike also has front and rear disc brakes on offer and comes with tubeless tyres. Adding to this is a muscular front fender and a new visor.

The Hunk features an air-cooled, 4-stroke single cylinder OHC engine, delivering raw power of 14.2 bhp @ 8500 rpm and a torque of 12.80 Nm at a low rpm of 6500. It has a claimed acceleration of 0-60 kph in 5 seconds.

Priced at Rs 59,990/- (cast/disc/self, ex-showroom Delhi), the New Hunk is being made available at all Hero Honda dealerships across the country.

Yesterday i saw this "All New Hunk" @ one of the chennai rto office with FOR REGISTRATION sticker. I asked the guy who rode the bike from showroom for the on-road price chennai. He said 74k on-road , that mean it's bit price higher than cb unicorn dazzler .

Ps: Currently the bike comes with black color only. Don't know about other colors.

Saw the bike today in the showroom. The only thing I noticed that was worth a mod was Digital speedo. I did'nt noticed the rear brake though. But, nothing seemed tobe too much of it to be called as a big change.

74k on road. Looks like the HH split has given the hero a very big shock & turned their minds.

I think the honda is one or either way responsible for it. The honda has launched the dazzler which comes for 73k on road (in bangalore). So in order to turn the sales of Hero down it has increased the price of hunk. Since the honda is the one who is supplying engine & other technology things it has increased the price of those parts. Now the hero doesnt has any other options & it has to buy the parts & other things from honda only even at an elevated cost.

It was a strategically planned move from the honda to increase the sales of their dazzler since no one would buy a bike with similar features for an increased price.

Above all is MY conclusion & not from any other sources.
