How can "we" do anything in this matter? Already companies are aware of everything regarding this matter.Originally posted by docted View Postgod nothing in this country seems to move lest someone goes on a fast (unto death) , with all respect to Mr Anna Hazare.

Except maybe the fact that Sbk's do have enough demand for home production. A city as small as mine (C-Class)has 12-14 different Sbk's (which may be illegally imported, heavily taxed, unserviceable or all of the above), forget the metros and state capitals.
I have said it before- the people who can do something in this matter, are not bikers, they are just plain businessmen. Easy money is the key here!
Yet if we manage to create a revolution for change, count me in too.---

forgive me but i may be wrong, but when Maruti 800 first drove into India whole of Bihar, had only one dealer , i`m pretty sure same was the case with with other cities also, but today you can find one from Leh to Kanyakumari and every where in between, unless you are physically present in a market you really cant be expected to grow !!!
You now have R1 selling in my hometown (Class C).
DEMAND AND SUPPLY !
cheers !
(BTW ARE THEY HERE YET !)
