So they're basically developing a bike for a single season. What's the point of that?Originally posted by hirenmistry View PostYes the new bikes will be 250cc single cylinder 4 strokers, and these bikes will be replacing the 125cc 2 strokers.
The new series will be called Moto3 and will start from 2012.

Khudos to M&M motorcycles......
I heartly congragulations for Mahindra and Mahindra motorcycles for being first Indian Corporate to enter in motogp 2011. I hope they'll bring lots of technical knowledge from the racing to production bikes in India. At the same time I feel very sad, since TVS racing being in field of racing from past 25 years, they couldn't make it to motogp.. Hopefully they to participate in future days.... Anyways we can see Indian falg and anthem flying on motogp circuits in future days... Jai ho...

Thats exactly why I said the timing is weird.Originally posted by Samarth_M View PostSo they're basically developing a bike for a single season. What's the point of that?
TBH they will not be designing a new engine as their engine partner Engines Engineering were involved in the Lambretta teams that participates in the 125cc class races. All riders fall; some get back on, some don't, some can't...

Mahindra surely is making a lot of its presence felt these days. Its not only the 2 wheelers. The 4 wheelers are also are in serious business. They surely must be up to something big
.
But!!.... they need to take a second look at Mojo..seriously. I'm no expert, but there should be better options.
