    Royal Enfield to increase production capacity

    In order to meet the increasing demand for its two-wheeler Royal Enfield, Eicher Motors on Tuesday said it plans to set up a new facility to increase its production capacity to 10,000 motorcycles per month.
    "We will be continuously looking to ramp up the capacity to meet excess demand," CEO and MD Sidhartha Lal told reporters on the sidelines of the India Economic Summit.
    The company is planning to set up the new manufacturing facility that will take up the production to 10,000 units per month.

        yeah, i have also heared this news before, but its again good to know that Royal Enfield to increase production capacity

          Its about time they did this. I myself wanted to buy the Classic 500 2 months back but had to change my mind due to the waiting period of 10 months.

            High time they did.And I hope up their quality levels as well. The new bullets have some serious quality issues the workmanship leaves a lot to be desired.So musch so that I am almost prepared to trade in me 2010 Electra twinspark for an R15.
