125cc Triumph range in the pipeline?

125 cc bikes sell more than any other category in the UK, therefore its makes sense for anyone selling in the UK to have presense in the category.
After Bajaj+KTM maybe it makes sense for Triumph to source for a desi partner to develop and manufacture its 125 in India (la KTM 125 Duke). A TVS+Triumph looks a possibility.. Hey, by the way Hero is free to source for a technology partner too.
TVS-Triumph, Hero-Triumph..?? Possible I say.

Just hope that it becomes TVS-Triumph rather than Hero-Triumph.. IF it merges with TVS, then we just might be able to see the Taurus back again, like a mini Triumph Speed Triple..Originally posted by payeng View Post125 cc bikes sell more than any other category in the UK, therefore its makes sense for anyone selling in the UK to have presense in the category.

Uhh i would go with the TVS-Truimph. If we will have the hero-truimph then again we will have the new sticker business on the name of upgrades.Originally posted by payeng View Post125 cc bikes sell more than any other category in the UK, therefore its makes sense for anyone selling in the UK to have presense in the category.

Star City Triumph! or may be the SR Triumph!
I remember reading about a tri spark (lol there goes DTSI) based Triumph somewhere!
I hope they stick to TVS.
Though culture wise I think TVS or Hero would be a culture shock for Triumph!Super CommuTOURer - Talk less, Ride more

afterall, we're all deeply implanted with the British genes isn't it? Don't we all follow the British policies right from the law?

The European 2 wheeler sales could see some positive growth in the future (right now its in the downward spiral with plunging motorcycle sales) only because of the interest in the 125 cc learner class.
For a (European) generation which would never get astride a motorcycle, a learner 125 cc could just give the manufacturer hope that when they grow up they would still be interested in motorcycling and would be getting on something bigger later in his life.
