Asheesh & his father Anji Mehra are hosting a art and bike show in Pune between Jan 11 and Jan 15 (Saturday). The show is being held at Waves Art Gallery, B-204, 2nd Floor, Parmar Trade Center, Next to Sadhu Vaswani Chowk, Pune. The paintings have been done by Raju Sutar, an avid biker himself. There are also a number of photographs from Anji Mehra's bike trip on a 1961 BSA Super Rocket from U.K. to India in 1965. The exhibition timings are from 10:00am to 8:00pm each day. Asheesh and his father by profession are classic bike restorers with more than two decades of experience between them.

This is the first time an exhibition of this kind is being held in India.

There is an interactive session on topics related to bikes, biking and touring on Saturday Jan 15, 5:00pm onwards. It is expected that one will get to meet a number of biking stalwarts and come away richer in knowledge.

The classic bikes on display are:

BSA Super Rocket 1961, 650 cc
BSA Golden Flash 1952, 650 cc
Matchless G 9 1955, 500 cc
All bikes are twin cylinder.
