Just out of curiosity, will the price be close to 13 or 18 because the delta(5 lacs) is huge. If it's close to 13, then it's a serious competition to the japs but if it's close to 18 lacs, then it's in a completely different league.Originally posted by sunilg View Post

Good to see such bikes in Indian roads.
Lets see the On road price tag. If it is for 13lacs, it ll have a good head on with YAMAHA.

I was there and was lucky to talk to Mr. Chopra, MD of Piaggio Motors. As per him its too early to tell. But why the brad price range is because the bikes will come with a variety of accessories and the top end model would be around 18 lacs. (Maybe with ABS) and the lower end without the frills around 13.
They also plan to open a 3-4 service stations for the bikes in the top cities within the next 3-4 months.Comment
