Yep, its just new stickers/colors (like Hero Honda/Honda/Yamaha).. not even new features (for which Bajaj products are know for) for the 2011 version of Discover 100Originally posted by harsha742 View PostAgreed this was just a sticker job which they called it a 2011 version ..but i guess it was too soon for bajaj to do any technical changes as the bike is relatively new .

It's almost been two years since the launch of the Discover 100/150. According to me, so far they have been consistently fuel efficienct, feels well built and smoother than the older engines.

I've got disco150 with green/gold auto colur change stickers. feels nice to have something new.
disco150 has fantastic power to weight ratio.
It has got all DC electricals ( don't know if it was there in earlier version), auto choke, few sensors.
Auto choke is bad, I miss manual choke which is present in my zma and P150.Last edited by MotionFreak; 03-03-2011, 01:10 AM.

How is the Fuel Efficiency of your Disco 150? Any comments on the engine? Handling?

Looks like someone from the product dept in Hero Honda has moved to Bajaj !!
But then I'd guess theres only so much features that can be crammed into a 100cc commuter, so the feature addition would have to eventually hit a platue. Even for an innovative company like Bajaj.
Unless they want rearsets n monoshocks on an econo commuter !!Kawasaki Ninja : Because lazy sunday afternoons should be despatched at 160 kmph!!!
Hyosung Aquila : Because sometimes you need to look cool while riding at 40 kmph and you can do that only on a cruiser !!!

Adding color options gives a lot of choice to the end buyer. A Good thing.
Yes, It's only a paintjob, but this bike is the pinnacle of modern 100cc commuters- a good balance of fuel efficiency, weight, comfort, performance and cost.
I agree with Sukant- Adding any new feature/change might negatively change the commuting variables, specially the bike's cost.
Some xbhp members/ other customers might want that too. I mean, given the fuel prices, its a great idea and it might sell good too.Unless they want rearsets n monoshocks on an econo commuter !!
But, let all the Pulsars get these features first..?
