  • The 2011 Kawasaki Ninja zx10R unveiled : The baddest Ninja yet!

    The First Revelation

THIS IS the world's first official image of Kawasaki's 2011 ZX-10R racer.

The 220bhp machine, which is undergoing a series of intensive testing at Suzuka circuit, will be the basis of the 2011 road bike due for release next year. Visordown has learned the 2011 10R will be an all-new machine belting out a reported 200bhp in road trim.

And with an expected wet weight of less than 200kg, the 2011 ZX-10R is shaping up to be something really special.

We ran the 2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R concept skectch back in June and a very early 2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R concept sketch in January.

It's about time Kawasaki clawed back some of the deficit in the 1000cc market. Let's hope the new 2011 bike really delivers what Kawasaki are promising.

Looks a bit like the BMW S1000RR, which we all thought looked like a ZX-6R and there's more than a passing resemblance to the 2009 Kawasaki/Hayate MotoGP bike pictured below.

It seems like we're going around in circles ...

And it is out in the world...

Yeah you heard it right the Lemon Green is back in the business and this time with serious stuff .
The all new Kawasaki Ninja 2011 putting out a terrifying 210 horsepower and weighing just 198kg full of fuel and fluids, the 2011 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R leap-frogs to the front of the power and power-to-weight charts. But then just muscles ain't that make this green babe so special, it sports a completely redesigned chassis aimed at improving handling and racetrack lap times – and a traction control/ABS setup that ditches all notions that such systems are for safety.
well then it seems that in the new Ninja, the intelligent electronics are all focused on making it faster than ever before on the road or track.
though personally I for some reasons like some design queues after having seen the BMW liter class but then some times it seems an eye sour from some angles ,esp~ the tank is painted black , what was in there mind while doing so & it sometimes seems a cross of r6/r1/cbr/bmws1000 well you all can do more justice..
So here are some pics to enjoy.

Thanks to the S1000 RR, all 1L bikes are breaking the 200 bhp barrier.....what next!!
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

Are you sure? This is the first I have heard of... But, the Japanese have to evolve eventually...

And its not about breaking into 200 bhp barrier. Neither about an under 200 kilo machine.

S1000R is more about the brilliance. I mean - the whole thing as a package... The Traction Control, the ABS, the handling, etc. The brilliance shows up when an average rider rides it good.

Any machine can get 200 bhp, but only a brilliant machine can let the rider make the most of it...
That's what I believe, so Kawasaki has to show a lot more than 200 bhp to convince me/ most of us.

When i drove the ZX10R 2009 model in Malaysia at more than 240kph, i thought that was insane. But now looking at this 2011 ZX10R having power more than 200bhp and weight less than 200kg, i think the insanity has just increased manifold. ...God save the Rider.. .. But really a master piece from kawasaki.. I love it..

                        2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R photo gallery

These world first pictures show the most powerful and advanced ZX-10R yet.

The 2011 bike is all-new, with power boosted to an estimated 185bhp, weight down 10kg to 198kg, and one of the most advanced traction control and ride-by-wire engine management systems in the superbike class.

The bike reflects more than three years of work for Kawasaki, which drafted in MotoGP engineers to help with the design.

Kawasaki's new traction control system is called S-KTRC (Sport-Kawasaki Traction Control) and is a far more sophisticated version of the widely-praised system fitted to the GTR1400 tourer...
