  • 2011 Hero Honda ZMR Facelift is here.

Iin line with other Hero Honda bikes which were given very recent facelifts, it is the same aesthetic boosters and gotta do nothing in terms of performance and other mechanical stuff. Remember that Hunk, Glamour, CBZ Xtreme were the other bikes which were updated most recently.

To begin with, the 2011 Karizma ZMR gets body coloured rear view mirrors. It adds to the gorgeousness of this big bike. It also features a sporty full body cowl. The multi functional digital console with blue illuminated backlight is truly an eye catcher for this bike.
The tachometer is housed in the centre along the ZMR badge, making it ideally placed for better visibility as well.

The front and rear discs of the brakes are now coated with a pinch of Astra Gold colour. This is very visible on both the front as well as the rear side of the bike. Dazzling integrated LED tail light is also now included in the design package. The above mentioned are the features that the company boasts of the new 2011 Karizma ZMR. But there are a few other visible changes as well.

The other changes that are incorporated here include an all new gold coloured exhaust cover which looks really cool. Nice thought. The grab rails are also body coloured now. There are minor changes in the sticker pattern as well. Also, the front shocks boost the looks with its new astra golden touch.
The 2011 Karizma ZMR is available in a range of four colours namely Vibrant Orange, Spot Light White, Panther Black Metallic and Candy Blazing Red. With the launch of this bike, blue colour is now discontinued.
This price of this bike is not yet listed but personally I opine that it might not be very expensive than the previous model. As the caption says, will this bike be ABOVE ALL?

I really liked the digital console and the Gold colored exhaust now..Looks super cool... Good thinking here.

On the other thought: At least they could have provided a fatter tyre like the FZ's. The existing one looks puny when compared to the body of the ZMR. IMO
            Yamaha Enticer: 2003 - SOLD
            Royal Enfield Thunderbird : 2005 - SOLD
            Yamaha FZ 16: 2008 - SOLD

This is the best looking console right now in India, nothing comes close to it.
As Vijay said, they could have plonked in at atleast a 120 section tyre at the rear, coz of the puny tyre the huge tail light section just does not gell well.

As expected, cosmetic changes are the ones they bring in. Well, a fatter tyre would mean further testing of the bike in terms of how well a fatter tyre would gel with the bike, mileage drop, upgrading other components so that mileage wont drop, at the same time keeping costs down. Some thing, HH will not be interested in.... Nayi packet mein cheez purani.. Nothing great... (Above is my personal opinion. Hope to be taken positively.)
                  Cheers!!!

Egad ! What have they done? The bike now looks like a toy with the body coloured mirrors & rear grab handles & golden couloured exhaust. The console is the saving grace.

Looks nice, but with the same specification, i guess wont attract too much buyers..( one can easily go for CBR if the concerned person wants, even though both are in different league)

OT:- As far as the rear tyre goes, one can obviously go for after-market one..
I am not sure if Pirelli or Michelin has it, but Dunlop is having 120-130/90/18 tyres...

Hero should also come up with a reasonably priced face lift clinic. Think about it, the world needs it and they have expertise in that. What could go wrong? It would be such a rage in every town Hero has dealership in. And we know they have many dealerships.

One Question.. When would it be named Hero Karizma ZMR?? Or the Honda name would still be there..
Body coloured mirrors i think inspired from there very own HH pleasure
The added gold touches on white make it apache-ish..
You gotta risk it.. to get da biscuit !!!

                              Praise Hero !!!

I think is time to give long due credit to Hero. Having small kids working in R&D department is no joke. They are tapping the young talent "cath them young".

Hero - Keeping going on with the new stickers/graphics
