All these were test-ride bikes gathered from various dealers spread over the NCR. They end up as showroom display pieces.
...and later dealers may sell it to it's own employees/even public for a discount but with full warranty. HH normally discounts if the test ride bike/display bike is not sold off for more than 6 months HH also honors warranty terms for such bikes....

Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

What he means is that different steering geometries "handle" differently depending on what you do with the bike. In this case when you use the rear brake on the ABS model it is a combined brake. This means that both front and rear brakes are applied and monitored by the ABS electronics. Without the rider's hands stabilizing the front fork (steering), when you apply the brakes, any imbalance in the system manifests itself as "wobble" or even tracking left or right depending on the nature of the imbalance.

Wheels, by nature, are more stable when rotating at high speeds due to gyroscopic effect. This effect can nullify minor imbalances in the system. The moment you "slow" the wheel down by braking or coasting, these imbalances get magnified.

OF's test was a test of braking stability and the C-ABS set-up.

Honda sent invites to different media organisations who sent in their respective riders.

Aryan is working as a photographer for another media house and a very busy man these days..which I believe is the best that one can ask at this stage of one's career.

Thanks GS. Couldn't have put it better.
Abhiwar: By sudden application of the rear brake while not holding the handlebars, I was checking the inherent stability of the bike. That the CBR tracked true and straight under hard braking and without any input from the rider (me) means that Honda have got the geometry (thats the combo of rake, trail, wheelbase, location of the center of gravity and frame rigidity) spot on.

Guess the mesh was a Murphy's Law preventive - people would stuff the gap with cleaning cloth or some such thing which would catch fire and burn the bike. The CBR250 is not as tightly packaged as the R15 and so maybe even if someone makes the same mistake, the results will hopefully not be similar. Hopefully that is

BTW How was the headlight? Was it beamy or spread? And how powerful? Also, was the rear suspension adjustable?
              Rear suspension??

And CBR seems to have a bigger space/vent.It will be more convinient for ppl to stuff things.Hope HONDA address this issue.
