So, here the numerics '650' comes from the Amperage it produces. Means they focused to keep the name same and designed specs according to the name 650... lol.. Just kiddin.. I appreciate the GREEN MOVE.

Everything else is Ok. But, for a wise reason, the specs sheets don't mention the weight of the vehicle.

Surely an R1 would be available for this price but with increasing price of the fuel world-wide, this seems to be a good move. Roehr can also bring on the smaller siblings like in the range of 25-30 bhp motors, it wuld be a big success in India atleast.

In that way, we would not be deprived of the hi-speed adrenaline, that to at a lesser price than the current fuel.

It will not be a success in India soon, A smaller 25-30 HP motor machine if coming it will be at a price of fz1 here, most people will not prefer a 120 kmph capable bike for that price! and for tourers 7hr charging and short range(for touring) will be an issue!

You are right bro that these bikes would not be suitable for touring but imagine if we get an electric bike with the designs of say a R15 or ZMA or P220, with the same price tag, woudnt there be more people going for it?

There is a large population of bikers who cannot afford these performance bikes due to the raising fuel prices and low fuel average of these bikes.

India will first need a vehicles charging stations infrastructure to make any use of electric cars/bikes.

Although electrics are costlier, I'd somehow love to go for electric for the sake of environment.

If someone can launch a good looking electric small car, I'd be happy to sell off my current one and go for the electric one.

P.S: Reva is not good looking. Although I respect that they stuck to being green.
P.P.S: Reva NXG is ok looking, but I dont see it on road in any near future. Anyone?
