May be yamaha might have got customer reports of battery failures so might have added the kick... but I think it gives no reason to increase the prices.. 2k is not a small amount...

The colour themes just look ok. but i would have preferred if Yamaha would have launched these in 250 CC.Ride Hard !!! Ride Safe!!! Enjoy every moment on your machine !!! Cheers....Comment

the kick doesn't look ugly in real. you hardly notice it.

Hmmm.... am considering buying one of these and hot-roding it with Raceconcepts developed parts... a FZ-S with 180cc cylinder kit and FFE would surely be interesting
... why wait for Yamaha to come out with a better and bigger FZ, why not make one on your own ....

wow!!!!! i liked the fz-s very much................new colour tone is awsome excluding yellow colour.......adding of kick start is like kicking the ass of hero honda.....they just removed the kick starter from its cbz xtreme copying the yamaha

Just visited the FZ-S website and was surprised to see a kickstarter-esque entity in the photographs (above the rear brake pedal)...
