Husaberg is a swedish company formed in 1987, my year of birth! Their focus was to ensure good off roading, in the forests on sweden but eventually the company improved and expanded.

Their speciality is the selling of 2-stroke off road only bikes even in today's age, where four strokes rule almost every bike category, including off roaders too.

Right now, KTM owns Husaberg and so its production continues in Austria too. However, Husaberg's innovations were not stolen and the brand was not diluted and merged into KTM, as experts predicted. Even today, Husaberg stands in the market as a separate brand.
Wish I could get one of their 2 strokes in India. But that won't happen though.
