Newbie favorable Dirt bike releases in the 2012 Yamaha Lineup:
1. Yamaha PW50: Designed for younger riders, the PW50 contains a simple shaft drive and automatic transmission along with an oil injection system. Yamaha also offers the TT-R50E and the TT-R110E for novices who still want low seat-height and an automatic transmission. Finally, the TT-R series is rounded out by the TT-R125LE and TT-R230 models. The biggest in its lineup, both models carry some advanced features such as a manual clutch and front disc brakes, but still maintain the convenience of an electric starter.

2. Yamaha TW200: Yamaha is also returning with more options for dual-sport enthusiast next year. On paved roads or off the beaten path, both models offer stability and ease of operation for a variety of skill levels.

The 2012 TW200 will be available starting in July of 2012 at a price of $4490. The XT250 is equipped with long-travel suspension and 11.2 inches of ground clearance. The model includes a 31.9-inch seat height and electric starter, with a 245mm disc up front and a 203mm rear disc brake in the back. The double-cradle steel frame is lighter than previous versions, with Yamaha citing improved handling as a result. The 2012 model also includes a digital LCD panel with green background and frame-mounted passenger foot pegs for two-up capability. The XT250 has a claimed fuel economy of 73 mpg with a 2.4-gallon tank, and will be available to the public beginning in July of 2012 with an MSRP of $5090.
One of the most eye-catching in Yamaha’s lineup is the Yamaha TW200. It returns in 2012 with its fat rear tire and low seat height, providing extreme stability as one of the most user-friendly bikes available. Like the XT250, the TW200 is equipped with an electric starter and utilizes a 196cc air-cooled four-stroke engine. The bike offers low to mid-range power while on road or off, and instrumentation includes speedometer, odometer and a resettable trip meter. Capable of 78 mpg, the TW200 will be available to the public beginning in July of 2012 with an MSRP of $4490. (MCN)---

Though Zumo might attract good number of buyers, I doubt if Majestic would attract many in India. Nevertheless, it will be a very good option for speed thrillers who prefer a scooter to a bike, not many though. May be a cstomized version with 150 CC majestic would be a better option for India buyers.
