  • 2012 Yamaha YZ250F and YZ450 Announced

    Yamaha revealed its 2012 YZ250F motocross bike with a number of updates.YZ450F a major update for 2010 with its reversed engine layout so it should be no surprised the motocrosser received just a few updates for 2012.
    Besides the usual graphical updates, the 2012 Yamaha YZ450F receives a new exhaust system to meet 94dB competition requirements. Fuel injection settings have also been tweaked for smoother response at low to mid revs.
    Suspension settings have also been tweaked while the seat uses a new foam material.
    The 2012 Yamaha YZ450F will be offered in Yamaha Blue and White or White and Red

          +100 these dirt bikes will be great for Indian conditions... but imagine the situation in rainy season

            In rainy season out here, the only thing of concern would be dirt on us and the bike. Otherwise the waterlogged areas can be easily covered with these bikes. Check out the upswept exhaust... ofcourse to ride on roads we would need a dual purpose tyres.

              It would be great fun riding these bikes on Indian roads. wonder why yamaha has not explored this option in India. May be they are afraid that there will not be any takers.

                Now that they have the motor for the YZ250... I'm sure we can expect a 'YZF-R' version sometime soon
