It's very well known fact that to make each prototype engine road ready, involves a huge amount of money, and specially time. Still, a manufacturer is expected to have a good range of motorcycles, and not just be represented by as few as 2-3 motorcycles/ models.
So, the solution is to share the engine and other components among motorcycles; In other words, to create new variants of existing & successful bikes.
Have a SuperSports? Make a naked racer out of it!
Have a touring bike in your range? Make a Multipurpose Off roader out of it.
And this is how the strengths of an existing motorcycle are moved on to the new ones...
Talking about this new bike based on the F3, I expect it to have relaxed riding position, probably a retuned maximum power output, and lots of electronics' management (drive modes/ ABS/ elaborate console). It might come with a half-fairing too, but with decent ground clearance and adjustable suspensions. This is just my expectation though, not based on any confirmed source.
