Apart from the panel designs everything else seems to be a xerox copy..! Headlamp reminds me of some Suzuki street bike.

I wonder if one of our local manufacturers comes up with this bike, what would be the reaction?

Many Chinese who I've come across the Internet consider themselves to be superior to Americans/Germans as they have higher IQ's and are fond of the fact that they still produce illegal copies of everything!Even though,their economic boom started in the seventies they still lack the necessary R&D to produce such bikes and instead of asking for help/Joint-Ventures,they indulge themselves into reverse engineering(Which BTW,is no mean feat!)whereas we feel disgusted at such acts and encourage originality and up to a certain extent follow the same,even though our Economic expansion started in this millennium,we do not find it hard to make and sell our own stuff!
You XBhpians,might have come across a HumVee copy from China with minor changes(Squared Headlamps!) recently and also might know that Bajaj sued a Chinese firm for intellectual property theft!
They are growing,no doubt but these "acts" do not project China in a good manner!The sooner the ChiCom Government realizes this and stops giving open support to such thieves,the better!
IMO,the real credit should go to the Guys who first conceptualized it.I.e,Kawasaki engineers/Designers!

True,no one is denying the fact that Chinese are really good at certain things but they are also notorious for Copying!
They stand first at nanotechnology related innovations with USA trailing them yet they are unable to put a Turbofan engine of their own into service.
They have the most robust manufacturing facilities in their country and come up with the everything from Super-Fast trains to carrier Killing missiles but they still make illegal copies of everything from Ipods to "Hanes" chaddis!
P.S-These are not intended to spam/start flame wars but merely trying to convey my points(without degrading the Chinese' capability,of course!!)
