my friend Aspirin , plz see the diff betrween the test figures for 0-60 and 0-100 for Karizma test and this test , and just notice the large discrepancies Overdrive is fraught with .
No way is the DTSi a Karizma beater on the road ...marketplace definitely yes , by a mile in fact , but not on the road .Man will occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of the time he will pick himself up and continue on.

well ricci get ur maths correct manquote:Besides the Pulsar180DTSi weights 139kg kerb weight , compared to Karizma's 150kg kerb weight .....20kgs ?? Ouch !
150 - 139 = 11
so difference in weight is 11 KGS[:0]~~I LiVe My LiFe a QuArTeR MiLe At A tImE~~

Dtsi will beat Karizma anyday, and thats for sure. 139 kerb weight gives it the power to weight advantage. The normal p180 gives the Karizma a though fight anyway. Bajaj has done the perfect thing by launching Dtsi technology. I guess these 11kgs will make up for the (16.7-16bhp) 0.7bhp
.
And yes after a all this comes the mileage, where the "ZMA" get a hard kick on the rear.http://www.angelfire.com/ab7/dariusbuhariwala/180i.gif

ok guys.....COOL IT !!!! WANT TO START ANOTHER KARIZMA vs DTSi fight ????
Ok u think that the DTSi is faster and the best thing...FINE..go ahead and enjoy the bike, and let us ZMA owners enjoy ours. Did anyone ever tell you that only the ZMA is the bike u should buy ? So stay shut and enjoy ur bikes, and stop digging the same old debate again and again !!!

i agree with u rash. its very simple if u want a good performance bike ur options are ZMA & P180DTSi. now if u hv that extra mullah to spend u shud go for the ZMA & if not (like myself) go for the p180 DTSi. as the OD editor said "ZMA or P180 DTSi u cudn't go wrong with either"

Exactly techno...but some people fail to understand that...and thats what gives rise to all these intramember wars. There are people who love their bikes more than anything else....and then can never hear anything against them. Fighting amongst each other over the bikes is of no use..instead, having fun by co-existing is certainly a better option.

hey guys,
u no what, we v p150 dtsi in our town 4 little more than, a week now.its blue in color, n say u guys d fairin looks mean 2 say the less...though looks bulky a bit, the 2 pilot lamps, operated by the parkin switch is tremendous in dask, the seat unit is given a bit of bulk where it meets the tank....n ya i did ride it twice, as it is a new bike i didnt thrashed it hard, n the pdi wasnt done properly so the curburation wasnt perfect...the showroom guys gave me 4 a riding xperience. the clutch feels lighter with more feel into it, gears r too slick, even slicker than my adreno...but lack some feedback.the best part of it was the engine, it literally seems isolated from the frame as far i experienced till 5500 rpm, total lack of footrest vibes, though i felt alittle the same when was a pillion, engine definitely has vast improved grunt from 3000 rpm pulls seamlessly, initial was a bit hasitatin though, but that may coz of improper curburration....ya smoothness is there to reveal, with cutdown track agileness n bettter stability its the best still i v ridden so far
