yeh hai delhli meri jaan (obviously it isnt, i am just kidding)

what was the police doing if this is a place full of cops? enjoying the show until they got bored?

no wonder why the mamu near my place used to stop me and take down my liscence number and family details whenever i ride fully geared. even the police might be scared of such nuisance.

I dont discourage stunting but only on private or deserted places. on public roads, it is dangerous. infact, if you think of it, our trips to the nearest cornering heavens are also treated the same way by people who dont do it but thats a different topic altogether.

what nonsense, no TV stunt show says--go and do stunts in busy streets and cause nuisance.

it is very unfortunate, that we have people in this forum, who still thinks like ..........

why only stop tv shows, why not stop bike production

PS: i am so enraged by this comment, that i can't stop myself, if xpolice or moderators think that this is a personal attack, they can delete it.

        Govt. should wake up

Govt should wake up to TV shows which are promoting stunts and thereby causing injuries & even deaths to youth. Govt. should make a rule/law that all bike makers spend a percentage (say 2% of profit) in promoting safe riding.

I feel those people should be punished severely... because of people like these, police will start suspecting even innocent riders who wear protective gear...

I also feel that stunt reality shows are encouraging this kind of attitude, the kind of attitude people have displayed in stunt mania(especially season-2, i stopped watching it after 2-3 episodes) the way in which stunting was portrayed was very lame, i dont know how is season 3 but from my experience so far, i can definitely say that these programs encourage rude behavior on roads.

There is so much police there at any given time, it is impossible to do these kind of things for any great length of time (unless the police is sleeping).

but a tough action is really required as it is because of these people that media gets the masala to put the bikers in bad light.

I remember just few days back how many times I had to think about including India Gate in the group ride route.

At night times u can see many of them sleeping in there gypsys. Many spots have no cops at all. I have seen guys stunting there around 1 - 3am at night and no cops.

Ashamed to call myself a biker.....

Last week my father had to attend a party near Lodhi Road,New Delhi.. It got pretty late by the time we started for home like 11:00pm ...On the way we decided to pass by Inida Gate... when we first reached there I saw a group of bout 5-6 guys stunting wid ther P220's P180' & Karizmas.. Wheelie was the norm and each one tried to outshine the other. One ended up on the gravel but was quick to get up and continue.. A lot of people were also cheering and screaming their heads off (beepbeepbeep) all of 'em.. A couple of cops were present but they merely smiled.. Couldn't blame the poor fellas... Father (who really doesn't like me riding ) nailed me and told how he would never buy me a bike... Mother too approved and sister ne toh aur mirchi lagaya...We left the scene ASAP... So now I ask you guys what do we do of these ignoramus guys who stunt in front of the AMAR JAWAN JYOTI?? Their respect for the country is clealy being shown by stunting in front of the memorial... Let's not forget that it's a guy from some remote corner of India only who fights on the world's highest battlefield(Siachen) along the worse possible conditions and who is willing to sacrifice his life so that we get a good night's sleep.. All I am asking for is a little respect for the men in uniform and the police... If Sachin is god to us then why should they be considered inferior?

It's shocking & apalling !! Such places should be free from public vehicles, these guys are not 'bikers' and mere hooligans
