I'm guessing some reasons:
1. The Japan tragedy led to some supply deficit, and people were forced to get other bikes for their needs.
2. Maybe suddenly American people understood what it truly means to be a True Blue Tattoo muscling, pizza guzzling American!!!
Ok, maybe not, patriotism can't catch up so soon...
Anyways, I wish the financial crisis is over now...

The sales might've rose last 3 months in US because it's summer, the only time when people can ride.
