Bajaj Auto, the two wheeler giant has recorded rising sales during the fiscal year 2010-11. The company has recorded a growth of over 35% during the year as they sold over 33,87,043 motorcycles and 4,36,884 three wheelers. This year according to Mr. Rahul Bajaj, Chairman of the company was the best year ever that the company has seen. He revealed these figures with pride to his shareholders in his annual report.
Remunerations to both Mr. Rahul Bajaj and Mr. Rajiv Bajaj grew considerably. While Bajaj senior received over 27% during 2010-11, Rajiv Bajaj received 15% during the said period. Mr. Rajiv Bajaj is one of the Directors of Bajaj Auto and Managing Director of Bajaj Finserv. Remuneration of Mr. Sanjiv Bajaj too went up from Finserv by 88% to Rs.2.77 crores.
Net profits of the company too went up by over 50% to Rs.3,340 crores as against Rs.1,704 crores in 2009-10. Rahul Bajaj is sure the company will reach the 4 million mark during the coming year.

Bajaj has not only been innovating in the motorcycle market, but also the three wheeler market, for better mileage, usability and torque.
As for the 4 million mark, I believe he's talking about motorcycle sales, which were at 3.3 million last year. We do hope that on 10th anniversary of the Pulsar which is somewhere around October, we get completely new Pulsars which will make the target easier to achieve...
