Let's make it 6 then
. In fact I don't mind buying even if it's 125cc, it's another thing that we are getting 200cc. 125cc, with 15ps is more than enough for me!

I actually was hoping for the 125. It's more than enough for what I intend to do with it. But I guess bajaj must have taken a market survey and this thread kinda proves them right. More CC.. more public attraction. The deal is that this bike is being sold as an entry level, tight, compact, light and fun bike for 16yrs all the way up to the young at heart, abroad (its written on their website
). So actually more Cubic capacity was never a priority in the entry level category. If anything, an entry level bike should have a very nice price tag, to get more people interested in it. So I say throw the extra cc away and reduce the price. :-)
if only, wishes were horses..I would be a professional jockey.
Don't forget to wave :-)

3more months of waiting... but thats not the point! the point is that the so called class 'using a cubic capacity' is hogwash that some stupid company came up with, and sadly we stuck to it for long!
You wouldnt compare the R15 with a Glamour\Discover\Pulsar150 or a SZ JUST because its a 150cc
You wouldnt compare a 350RE with a 250Ninja or a CBR!
So when you say you have moved to a different class, then I have to disagree my friend... both the bikes belong to a different class and that got little to do with its cubic capacity!

But minus the being enough with 125ccs... You see, Cubic Capacity isnt really a bad thing for anything under 250cc
The slight bump allows them to mark a margin\ or makes an impact when it comes the volumes they can target! so win win for many!Super CommuTOURer - Talk less, Ride more

i've been watching the KTM 125 Duke like a perverted stalker for a while now. I'm getting the feeling that Bajaj/KTM has created a bike which is so cool and edgy that it doesn't even matter what the CC is. This whole size matters issue with bikes has gone too far anyway. It's like an extension of one's personality. A small bike means the person riding it, is not really that cool. Big Bike = Big respect! I, for one, can see what you mean by company run marketing campaigns, that has us all thinking that big bikes are the shit..big fat tires are supposed to be the norm and the thin bikes are for the not so manly men...no disrespect to the gay tribe out here..Originally posted by satyenpoojary View PostI would, but I dont, cause I cant!

Ok +1 there but -1 on the pompouse bit
But seriously this has to be one Golden Patch in Indias biking history after a LONG time.... Bikes like the R15, the FZ, the Stunner, the VFM P220, the RTR with ABS, the CBR, the NINJA... and now the KTM200 and the new pulsar based on the KTM platform, the Hero Impulse, and the M&M Mojo (if it ever comes) damn we are SO lucky
@Kallan19 Btw were you there for the Castrol Event yesterday?Super CommuTOURer - Talk less, Ride more

Make that 7...
+1 on the stalking bit... Been waiting for a fun commuter since far too long... Hence, would prefer it to be a 200 but wouldn't mind the 125 (at a reasonable price)...
Damn, the auto expo is too far away...I like 'em Naked
Blah Blah Blah!
