A power packed sports bike with a compact design and 998cc DOHC 20-valve engine has been tuned for tremendous mid-range punch and massive top-end power. Prominent features of the bike include an analog tachometer, digital speedometer, dual trip meter, odometer, water temperature and lights for neutral, high beam, low fuel and turn signals.
The FZ1's dual 12V 60/55 watt multi-reflector headlight features a sleek profile for superb aerodynamics and visibility. The FZ1 is now available in India in 2 color options - Black and White at an ex-showroom price (Delhi) of Rs. 8,70,000.
With the launch of FZ1 and SZ-R, Yamaha has ended the year 2010 in style and left all its customers one last 'Christmas Gift.'"

Although it doesnt belong to the litre class but still it is in the same price range.
. we surely need a naked that can stand toe to toe with Ducati's Streetfighter
. I'm still surprised at Yamaha India 'coz last year they had kept FZ1[N] model at the Yamaha Sales Office in Mumbai. I hope they introduce N version of it too.
. Actually i was talking about the bandit. Since it comes under a near equal price range of around 9-10 lacs.
