The pleasure of shifting gears as you tackle curves are long gone. Sometimes in today's traffic condition, I can move some 100 meters in half an hour. So auto transmission is making a lot of sense, especially if the motor is powerful enough like this one.

From what I understand, it is using the Dual clutch Transmission, already used on the VFR 1,200F, and which gives the possibility of a full automatic (with various driving style options), or semi automatic where the driver decides of his gear shift.

I totally welcome such feature! I rather be driving a car with automatic transmission in traffic, where gear stick + clutch are a P.I.T.A., and sequential transmission (controlled from the steering wheel= even better!) is top on a windy road for a bit of "sport" driving.

Not only a SH-150 but even my (lightweight!) wife on her Honda "air blade" beats my Yam 150 Fazer at the traffic light (not for long, happily !)

Grow up, boys, and tune up with you time!
        Aviator? or Activa?
