      Yes, I'm emailing my whole organization, previous organization(s), college friends, school friends and the other forum friends to vote with an mass email. That way it might attract a lot more visits and votes.

      Since you mentioned *appeal*, If you wont mind, i feel it would be better if you can send the email and mention my page to vote.. Photo Contest Page - Ananth (Since they might ignore my email in the first place!)

        This mass e-mail is exactly what I'm suggesting you do, with my distant contact e-mails.

        I have already appealed for myself. So, it might bug them if I send again...
        Besides, I don't know them all myself. Most are my friends' friends. So like I sent, you can send too because they were strangers for me too. And an appeal can come from any person...

                      I dont know about Sreenath but I know Shannon personally and he is also a fellow Xbhpian.

                      Guys, now I have a new problem - When my friends are clicking on the link they get in email for confirmation, it is giving an error page. Hence, my rank has fallen from 3rd Last night to 7th Now.

                      Looks like end of the day the prize will go to the person who is a mastermind.

                          Quite an effort to make that list Samarth! I went around clicking all the pictures to find who is on top.

                          Anyway I guess they are making some changes to the voting system to ensure fairness.

                          On a related note I did see the rank of *removed name* rising from somewhere around 9-10 to 3 in a matter of an hour or so.. I was actually surprised to see such a rise! I'm not sure of the reason, but there must have been huge number of votes confirmed during that time.

                          All the best to everyone, I'll just have to think of a new campaigning strategy

                            Thanks but not much of an effort anyways. I opened Xbhpians' profiles, noted their ranks. Then I used google and typed this:

                            And it showed me all those who were on Rank 1 in past 2-3 days. So, it took me just 5-6 minutes for that ranks post.

                              Ok, So that's the reason the vote is not getting confirmed.

                              This could mean anything from change in voting procedure or may be their server is overloaded with so many requests and pending items that they have placed the voting on hold.
