Never underestimate tuning, my friend. CC is not everything. See, once you get to the redline and start shifting gears, the CBR's "torque rule" is over.

Same thing happens in P220 vs Karizma drag. Yes, Karizma has the cc and torque advantage which shows in 0-50 kmph or so, but beyond that the tuning favors the P220 in a straight line drag... Why? Tuning. High revving.

Plus the less weight/ big tyres means that braking, handling, agility, riding fun, grip, etc. MAY go in favor of the Duke. Yes, top end and cruising may suffer though. Otherwise, Specs and Tuning is clearly in favor of the Duke.

But only another "non Bajaj" road test will clarify more things...

So, here we go again..CBR Vs. Duke Vs. R15.

Grow up guys, each one of the bikes above has its own appeal and can hold their own in the hands of experienced riders. Heck, there are guys on Apaches that can run rings around some of the more powerful bikes around.

Enjoy the new launches as they come as they carry only one message that is loud and clear "POWER TO THE CONSUMER".
Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.

              LOL..

I have had an R15 in the past but am really looking forward to the Duke.

For the moment, I would love to see the CBR sharing the parking space with my other beauty

The day i get a second bike in the house, I'll probably be asked by wifey dear to pack up my bags and leave house

Exactly for that reason to make space for the 200 Duke, I have sold off my P220 DTS-Fi

                  man...how similar.

I had to sell of my P220-Fi (brilliant condition) and my new R15 (yellow bumblebee) just because I was running out of parking space when I was buying my Ninja.

Damn...why cant we have the cake with icing and eat it too?

CBR? Seriously..? You already have a faired one which is better in all aspects as compared to the CBR
All you need now is a naked beauty ..

check the power to weight ratio of the duke compared to the cbr, then you will know how good the figures are
When you compare power to weight ratios are you comparing the respective power figures with dry weight or wet weight plus rider? IMHO no use knowing how fast a bike with no rider, oil and fuel can go...

y are u doing this comparison?
one thing though,cbr250 is overpriced and honda will realize it soon.
IMO we will see a lot of naked bikes soon.
                            waiting for yamaha fz-250.

The duke is a street fighter and will shine on departments its meant to Cbr is entirely a different league ; also no one is gonna ride their cbr inside the city @152kmph nor a person will ride a duke @136kmph . the 10l fuel tank tells that the duke is an all in all city bike and at stop go signals the duke is gonna win hands down; so stop comparing lions to cheetahs

it is still not proved that KTM will win in straight line traffic light drags. let the KTM be launched in market and then we will know. there is no performance comparison test done yet.
