I might be wrong, but I think KTM is already running the electric version of their RC8 based on our very own "Agni" DC engines in the Isle of Man TT.

This is TTX02 electric motorcycle which uses KTM RC8 frame and body work but its not KTM. its electric motor is developed by Mavizen(Link). KTM is struggling to cross 2cyliner mark and they had many failure attempting it.
they are still leaning. they started their own engine in late 1976 and their first 4stroke was in 1982 which is 20 years later Japs perfected 4stroke engines. thats the very reason Yamaha, Honda and Kawasaki is untouched till now.

Hope to see KTM soon in MotoGP where the real engine & technology war starts. Last year Honda came up with quick shift and this year all have similar technology and next year some one will come up with something new and everyone will try to match that. its really nice to see manufacturers battling it out with technology and 1 or 2 advanced technicality will make it to production bikes as well and we can enjoy it
