This is actually the best news we have heard all week. What this means is Bajaj would have to hurry up their 'All New' Pulsars and Discovers to claw back market shareOriginally posted by veryhiphop View PostHonda may beat Bajaj to claim second spot in Auto Sales of March.....
News been flashed today on CNBC (business channel)....

Long Live Competition!!!Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Absolutely right.... And honda might also have to drop the cbr150 prices, to stay in competition...Originally posted by antz.bin View PostThis is actually the best news we have heard all week. i dont understand...why does hero always show such a large growth figure and so many sales when i hardly see any new hero bikes on the road...all i see are the decade old splendors and their successors...a few cbz classics and new cbz and some karizmas...i see nothing else...i see tons of bajaj bikes more than HMC still bajaj shows a meagre growth and hmc shows outstanding growth..also till date i have hardly seen 3 impulse bikes from hmc..where are all the bikes which they say are being sold...2 lakh plus units a month....
i dont expect so much rural sales(agreed they are the ones buying the lower cc bikes) par yaar kitna lenge...? the same scooter and rusty bike runs in the family for generations sometimes....Pulsar 200NS parts list

Mayank 75% of our population lives in small towns and rural areas. You can't underestimate their numbers. Hero is king of rural areas. 90% of Hero's sales are 97cc bikes which ofcourse no would care to see. In comparison we will want to see bigger >=150cc bikes where Hero has meagre presence. I agree 100% in the cities we can see more Bajaj(Discos,Pulsars) and Yamaha(>=150cc), >=125cc Honda bikes and RTRs.Originally posted by mayank.travadi View Posti dont understand...why does hero always show such a large growth figure and so many sales when i hardly see any new hero bikes on the road...all i see are the decade old splendors and their successors...a few cbz classics and new cbz and some karizmas...i see nothing else...i see tons of bajaj bikes more than HMC still bajaj shows a meagre growth and hmc shows outstanding growth..also till date i have hardly seen 3 impulse bikes from hmc..where are all the bikes which they say are being sold...2 lakh plus units a month....

Bajaj infact had a 1% fall in the domestic sales. So how does it have a decent growth of 5%? Yes because Bajaj is a company which had a constant increase in exports month after month. Bajaj posted an impressive 1.23 lakh units exports in Feb 12 which shows Bajaj's increasing Global presence and growing international awareness about the brand.
A couple of years back Bajaj's 10% sales were coming from exports but now its 35% sales come from exports which would cross 50% in a couple of years seeing the trend.Last edited by Enthusiastic; 04-01-2012, 10:01 PM.Whats there in a signature?

Also, Honda will invest Rs. 100 crores in advertisement and publicity. They will hire a VIP brand ambassador too from the entertainment industry probably, who it will be is undecided at the moment.Originally posted by veryhiphop View PostHonda may beat Bajaj to claim second spot in Auto Sales of March.....

I've posted a news too about this 2 days back. Awaiting approval...

Also, Honda might combine HMSI and HSCI under one business entity. With shares also being combined.---
