AVL or not, Hero doesn't really need to worry about sales, as long as they produce a reliable replacement. But, they will be in big soup if niggles crop up in splendor/passion with new engine. If they can take care of that part, they don't have anything to worry about. No matter what, there will be certain percentage of urban buyers, who will tend to go with Honda once Hero brings in their engines.Let's bring down the monster of corruption to it's knees.. please visit http://ipaidabribe.com/

They very well might..Apart from the engine, it's also the brand name that has stuck a chord. If this partnership can bring out an engine which can do most of the things the current one does and is renowned for, it'll be worth it,and anything more will just be icing on the cake for HMCOriginally posted by s_hari View PostBut the big question is will AVL be successful in comming out with a successor to the legendary Honda 100cc engine which is know for its refinement, fuel efficiency, reliability? Will the consumer accept it?It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch
