    I am waiting for the G650GS which should be about 7L.

    All BMW bikes are coming in as CBUs so the additional amount is for import duty, homologation etc. In the US, it is about $10000 = Rs 5.5L

    The R1200 GS Adventure is $16000 in the US = about Rs 9.5L Here, it is Rs 19 LACS (got a quote from Navneet 2 months ago). Pathetic business plan by BMW...

      Sadly, its our govt to blame for and not BMW.

      The 650 is a great buy and if they are bringing it fully loaded then nothing like it.

                        not sure what is the point of the bike....we r not a mature super bike market for such segmentations...as it is only the things that go are HD for born again riders or crouch rockets ( which i have :roll eyes....
                        If you not living close to the edge ...... your taking up too much space

                          I got a msg from Pune BMW dealer the bike is launched at 9.99 L ex showroom. The msg also mentioned it is an introductory offer.

                              9.9 exshowroom Delhi means roughly 13 on road in Mumbai...that is not good pricing! Damn you BMW. Take a cue from Harley.

                                You sure about those figures? Even Honda CB 1000R's ex showroom was about Rs. 70,000 more in the Mumbai then Delhi. And the on road price differed by about Rs. 1 Lacs in the two metros... (?)

                                @ niks: 9.99 is the introductory offer? Damn. Then what would be the final retail price?
