Every company has plans for the future, including product prototypes which are under testing. For example, Nokia had 808 Pureview about 6 months- an year ago too, and still it isn't released. And its development is around 4 years or so.

Similarly, TVS definitely has something faster back there, there shouldn't be any doubt about it. The thing is that probably after the P200 NS' release, it has gone back to the drawing board and will probably refreshed before being launched.

Like I said before, TVS' trump card is definitely performance, chassis quality and power to weight ratio. They should count on it. And maybe give out a multicylinder bike? (Yes, I know its demerits too, but a USP is what's desperately needed for TVS)

The multicylinder format is one frontier that has so far not been touched by any desi biker maker. It's definitely a risk, but then to make a loud statement and get noticed, one needs to take risks.

Sorry to burst your bubble there buddy. I happen to know two TVS R&D engineers, whom I keep bumping on to, during our weekend ride outs. As of now, according to them.. Nada, Niet, Zilch ...!!
I was also quite surprised, to know that the Taurus(prototype, shown couple of years back in an autoexpo) was actually some nice bodywork done around an old Zx-4r engine... Yes! yes! they called it 250cc...

the biggest problem I see for TVS is that they do not have a good hold at the mass selling segment - the 100cc

Somehow ther bikes are not clicking at it...

They need a mass seller which can pump ther sales up and keep the momentum going...
