personal vehicles means ATV's or something else.?

I think personal vehicles include those slow or off road vehicles that don't require any registration or insurance, and can be used freely on one's personal land or property. And yes, ATV's are definitely included in it. Some electric scooters whose top speeds are around 25 kmph are included too.


I saw an advert for the dealership offer for Polaris products. Around 1 Lacs Rupees Salary even for no sales + some free ATV's for test ride + commission per sale and some other benefits IIRC. But the CBU prices have crippled its sales already.

So, Polaris have made a good decision here. India is very capable of cheap mass production, thanks to raw material availability, cheap labour, etc. We know the R15 and R125's price difference. Even Karizma won't cost below 2.5 Lacs if made in Europe or so, like someone said on Xbhp once.
This move should make the vehicles accessible to the better portion of the masses, if not whole of them.

Polaris also owns the Indian Range of motorcycles..

Legendary Indian coming to India? I think it would be justified.
Harley has had a great start in India, this could just make sense.

Royal Enfield could start making "Indian's" similar to how Bajaj is doing with KTM..

Royal Enfield's reply on whether we could see a motorcycle jointly produced by both these companies,

"It's a JV between Eicher and Polaris, RE is not involved."

so it confirms, there are no motorcycles in pipeline. Expect quads and other off roaders.

Polaris already has some powerful bikes in their arsenal. I remember visiting their stall in last Auto Expo. They were very generous enough to let me come inside their stall & allow me to take photographs. I had a wonderful chat with their representative & recorded a video. Let me check if I have any. They had displayed their range of ATVs & 2 cruiser bike one being the the like of Honda goldwing.
