    New honda 150cc naked bike has made an appearance in indonesian media

    One of the most anticipated bikes of the year, the mysterious new 150cc liquid-cooled Honda motorcycle has made an appearance in various Indonesian media.

    It is expected to be powered by a similar engine to the CBR150R. The bike is expected to be launched at the 2012 Jakarta Motorcyle Show, starting tomorrow (31st October).

    The bike is expected to be called "CB150R Streetfire".

          Launch Event

          Some more pics from the launch event of the CB150R at the Jakarta Motorcycle Show.

          Disappointing design, I must say. Typical plain-jane Honda. Even the rear light looks like something from the Honda Shine 125. The only saving grace will be the performance oriented engine.

                I think the Dazzler looks way better than this. Dazzler is well proportioned too, compared to this (at least in pictures). The only thing missing from the Dazzler is a sportier handlebar/foot-peg position

                    i am never a fan of naked bikes or streetfighter bikes or whatever you call them...SO... I don't like the design.

                    in my opinion, whether a man or a bike, when it goes naked, either it flaunts mass/volume or sharpness of curves/angles or muscles ... if you don't have either, don't go naked....

                    now dont kill me guys...he he..

                          Unconventional Honda. Maybe 'cos its Indonesia that it looks too flashy! spec looks great, frame looks great but that design..
                          It looks to me like a mix of crf, dazzler with the tail of shine. People compare the looks of r15 with cbr250/ 150, yes it is sportier but i say Honda looks proportional head to tail versus the r15. But this looks way too disproportional. Not a typical honda or hornet. And that 'streetfire' name

                            Looks like the dazzler modified. The console is not looking good. Its not even looking naked. Looks a confused category. Fz-S is much better looking and proportioned in the category. And we know with a new model Honda will make a mess with the pricing.

                              It will have a detuned version of the CBR150R engine, but expect power figures to be between 15-16 HP on crank.

                              Unfortunately (for everyone) this is not a trellis frame! It is just a diamond frame with support truss structure (that's what Honda is calling it). The frame is very similar to what is being used in the CBR250R.

                              This is actually a competitor to the Vixion, and not the FZ16 (Byson). The Indonesian Dazzler competes with the Byson. Though, I must say that among all the 150s in Indonesia, the Byson is still the best looking one!

                              As above, not a Dazzler replacement. In fact, the Dazzler will be updated by next year with PGMF-i fuel injection. But don't take my word for it
