BMW showcased 3 models as Special Editions to celebrate 9 decades of the company. In 1923 the company started the production of motorcycles.
The R1200 GS Adventure, R1200 RT tourer and the R 1200 R roadster are the models selected for the anniversary paint scheme. The reason being that all these three models share the same engine layout with the 1923 model, the R 32, i.e. Boxer-twin engine.
They will feature Sapphire Black Metal paint scheme. The fork legs and brake callipers will be anodised in gold.
