Hockey India League (HIL) has signed a deal with Hero to be the title sponsor for multiple years. It will now be known as Hero Hockey India League.
The HHIL will be held from January 14th to February 10th.

HMC is deviating from the tried and tested approach of sponsoring anything related to cricket in this country. The amount spent to sponsor HIL will be a fraction of sponsoring a cricket tournament. But will HIL be able to give the requisite eyeballs to HMC? Only time will tell.
