    BMW Press Release -

"It is with deep regret that BMW Motorrad confirms the fatal injury of Kevin Ash in a motorcycle accident during a launch event in South Africa. The accident happened to the north of a town called George, 250 kilometres east of Cape Town. Out of respect for Kevin's family and friends, no further information is being made available at this time."
He has been known for forthright reviews of motorcycles. So much so that some manufacturers had taken umbrage to Kevin's criticism and even banned him from their events. But it was this quality that made readers like him and his reviews.

    Roland Brown -

"As well as being a friend he was a complete professional,He was always enthusiastic and he loved the job, not just the riding, but the sense of being on the inside, talking to people in the factories and the management. His family were really the other main interest in his life and he'd always have a story to tell about them, he was very proud of them."
xBhp's prayers and wishes are with his family.

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Used to read his reviews in Auto India magazine. Sure, criticism had quite palpable a presence in his reviews, but it is due to critics that a product reaches the epitome of everything. RIP Kevin Ash.
