This bike is not going to be sold in the Indian market as yet. It is only going to be displayed at the Probiking Showrooms. The bike is not street legal, it does not need to be. If it is sold it will be purely for competition purposes. Bajaj hopes to get feedback by putting up these bikes at PBK showrooms.

So don't be surprised if in the not so distant future, you see Huskys and KTMs off-road range being sold in India.

Also, it came to be known, that the RC 25 bike to be built with a 250cc engine along the lines of the RC8 is not just rumours. xBhp first informed its members about this new bike here.

News of the Duke 390 was also obtained. The bike is expected to hit showrooms in the next 4 months as expected. A new development is that the price is expected to be around 2.5 lakhs, making it extremely competitive and value for money.

This is really good news, it will open a lot more options for the Moto-Cross freaks and enthusiasts here, have witnessed a few Moto-Cross events organized by MRF which have been dominated by TVS as well imported Honda and Kawa bikes this should make it just that bit more affordable for others to form a team and take a plunge.

The Sad NEWS is, KTM do not have plans to bring this to India any time soon, as it is going to be a complete Off-Roader (which means it won't be Street Leagal), which eventually effects the sales volume by a HUGE number (As the Moto-Cross scene is not that big here in India)... So, as of now, it will only be put on Display at 25 showrooms across India (Maybe to get the feedback)...

I want the motocross scene to get bigger. Damn, do you see the amount of fun the people of USA have in this regard. Btw, there was some rumors of Honda Crf250l. I am among those who want to see this change. Soon....

Very true, if you want to own this, you will need a container / van to bring it back home after the off-roading. We have to contend with the impulse for now .
Its crime to ride a car alone, so I ride bike :).

I wonder what is the idea behind bringing in the motocross rather than the street legal enduro EXC-F model!! As Calvin said this is a weird choice which will most certainly put off a lot of potential buyers...

The 350 EXC-F is, in my opinion, an excellent bike and certainly good enough for any offroad fun, including motocross. A friend of mine owns one, rides legally on the road and has no problem racing with it either. The bike comes with indicators and rear view mirrors but most people I know remove them as they mainly use the bike offroad.

Learn from the mistakes of others. You won't live long enough to make all of them yourself.

I would definitely buy this...how I wish they bring this to India immediately...would also get a beaten down gypsy to transport this wherever I ride.....since it's just 105 kgs will be easystem to load

Zigwheels carried an article last year about crf250l global launch and prodded Honda to launch in India.... Honda have not listened enough I guess... I think Indian enthusiasts are waiting for a bike this and I think it will be a big hit
