The women specific design of Hero Moto Corp, the Pleasure, is being sold in women targeted showrooms in smaller towns. Hero will continue selling the Pleasure from other showrooms as well. The company has already opened 20 Just4Her outlets in bigger cities like Pune, Lucknow and Ahemdabad among others. The next phase will see these towns being targeted with Dealers already appointed -
Rewari, Ranchi, Balasore, Rourkela, Angul, Midnapore, Siliguri, Patna, Chennai, Hyderabad and Mysore.

The Just4her dealerships are completely managed by women staff, and the showroom itself is designed like a boutique studio rather than a two-wheeler outlet. With its aesthetically-designed interiors, comfortable air-conditioned waiting lounges, and internet connectivity for customers, the showroom exudes warmth and friendliness.

Anil Dua, Sr. VP (Marketing & Sales), Hero Moto-Corp -

"We currently have around 30 Just4her showrooms spread across the country and we plan to take these up to 50 outlets in about a year's time. When we launched Pleasure a few years back, our initial target was to sell 5000 units a month. Today we sell more than 30,000 units of Pleasure on an average per month,"

Every single two-wheeler company seems to be going all out to make a mark in the scooter market.

nice concept, but i think this is just rebranding and advertisement, coz if i remember right, when we purchased our pleasure for my wife, that particular showroom was selling only ungeared scooters of hero honda, and i was quite surprised at that. this was a few years ago.

Why should girls have all the fun? But seriously, I have never, ever seen a lady going all by herself and buying a bike all on her own! 100 out of 90 times, they will be accompanied with a male menber from her family (or a male friend) who can do the regular checks before delivery and can work things out with the mechanics. So I seriously doubt the effectiveness of this drive.

Manufacturers should instead strive to make ALL the showrooms customer-friendly and should strive to make the delivery process quick and hassle free.
